Twilio WhatsApp

uContact integrates with Twilio so you can communicate with your customers through SMS and WhatsApp campaigns. It's very easy to set up and requires simple configuration with the information provided by the provider.

Before You Start!

Before starting the configuration, you need to have certain information that uContact will require to establish the integration with the provider. Here's the information you need:

Configuration in the Twilio Portal

Within the Twilio portal, it's necessary to configure certain webhooks for the provider to function correctly.

  • Webhook for messages
https://instance.ucontactcloud.com/api/inbound/twilioWpp/message

Replace "instance" with the name of your instance, without the .ucontactcloud.com.

  • Webhook for statuses
https://instance.ucontactcloud.com/api/inbound/twilioWpp/status

Replace "instance" with the name of your instance, without the .ucontactcloud.com.

Required Information

  • Username: Username of the Twilio account.
  • Password: Password of the Twilio account.

How to Set Up the Provider in uContact?

  1. Go to the Connectors tab and click the "New" button.
  1. In this modal, enter a name for the connector, select the channel, and choose the provider you want.
  1. Once you select the channel and provider, two new tabs will appear. In the Configuration tab, fill in the fields with the information provided by the telecommunications company.

  • Username: Username of the Twilio account.
  • Password: Password of the Twilio account.
  1. Then, in the Numbers tab, you need to enter the numbers.

  • List of Phones: The list of numbers associated with the connector.

How to Monitor the Connector Status?

You can check the status of the connector in real-time. To do this, go to the Connectors tab in the Administration Menu, where you will see a list of all created connectors. In the "Status" column, you will see the status corresponding to each provider.

What Each Status Means

StatusDescription
ConnectedThe connector is functioning correctly.
Not MonitoredThe connector is not being monitored.
DisconnectedThe connector is disconnected.
ActivateThe connector is not functioning and needs to be activated again.
