Infobip SMS

uContact integrates with Infobip, enabling you to communicate with your clients through SMS and WhatsApp campaigns. It’s very easy to set up and requires a simple configuration using the information provided by the provider.

Before You Start!

Before you begin the setup, you will need certain information that uContact requires to establish the integration with the provider. Below is the necessary information.

Required Information

  • API Key: The API key generated in your Infobip account.

How to Set Up the Provider in uContact

  1. Go to the Connectors tab and click the "New" button.
  1. In this modal, enter a name for the connector, select the channel, and choose the desired provider.
  1. Once you select the channel and provider, two new tabs will appear. In the Configuration tab, fill in the fields with the information provided by the provider.

Configuration

  • API Key: The API key generated in your Infobip account.

  • Messages per second: The maximum number of messages that can be sent per second. By default, it is set to 1000.

  1. Then, in the Numbers tab, enter the phone numbers.

Numbers

  • Phone List: Here, you need to add the numbers that the connector will use to send messages. You can add them manually or in bulk using a list of numbers.

How to Monitor the Connector’s Status

You can check the status of the connector in real-time. To do so, go to the Connectors tab in the Administration Menu, where you’ll see a list of all the created connectors. In the "Status" column, the corresponding status for each provider will appear.

What Does Each Status Mean?

Below are the different statuses a connector can have.

Indicates the connector is working correctly.
Indicates the connector stopped working and needs to be reactivated.
Indicates the connector is disconnected.
Indicates the connector is not being monitored.
