Outlook
In uContact, you can configure an Outlook provider to use in your Email channels. It's very easy to set up and requires simple configuration with information provided by the provider.
Before you start!
Before starting the configuration, you need to have certain information that uContact will need to establish the integration with the provider. Below are the details of the required information.
Required Information
- Email Address
Email address of your Outlook account. - Password
Password of your Outlook account.
How to configure the provider in uContact?
- First, go to the Administration Menu and access the Connectors section. Then, within the screen, click the New button located in the upper right corner.
- In this modal, you need to enter a unique name for the connector, select the Email channel and the Outlook provider.
- Then, two new sections will appear. In the Configuration section, fill in the fields with the information provided by the provider.
Configuration
In this tab, you will enter the required information for the Outlook integration.
- Account
Email address of your Outlook account. - Messages per Second
Set the maximum number of emails that can be sent per second using an Outbound Hub. - Receive Emails
If enabled, the campaign associated with the connector can receive emails.
- Once you have configured all necessary fields, click the Save button. This will open a new window where you need to sign in with the same email address you entered in the connector configuration.
- Then, you need to grant uContact permission to access your Outlook account. Click the Accept button.
- If the integration is successful, you will see a success message and can close the window. If not, try configuring it again by verifying the information or contact our Support team.
How to monitor the connector's status?
You can check the status of the connector in real time. To do this, go to the Connectors section in the Administration Menu, where you will see a list of all created connectors. The "Status" column will display the corresponding status for each connector.
What does each status mean?
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Connected | The connector is functioning correctly. |
| Not monitored | The connector is not being monitored. |
| Disconnected | The connector is disconnected. |
| Activate | The connector is not working and needs to be activated again. |
