Users

In this module, you can create users and profiles for administrators, supervisors, and agents of the Contact Center. It also includes additional functionalities like importing users, exporting them, and performing searches. Let's see everything you can do!

Users

In this tab, you can access the list of users created in uContact. You can search by username and the user's full name. Additionally, you will be able to create users in bulk or download them. Next to the name of the tab, you can see the number of users created.

User List

In this tab, you will find the list of all users created in the system.

  • User: here you will see the avatar, the user's full name, and the username.
  • Email: shows the user's email, which may be empty.
  • Profile: shows the profile associated with the user, which may be empty.
  • Actions: here you have the option to edit or delete the user. If you wish to edit, press the button and a pop-up will appear where you can modify all the information related to the user, except for the username.

Enabled and Disabled Users

In the user list, you can differentiate between enabled and disabled users, meaning those who cannot log into uContact.

Import Users

You can import a list of users to create them in bulk, saving valuable time. Here's how to do it!

  1. You must create a file that can be in XLSX, ODS, CSV, or TXT format and must not exceed 50MB.
  2. The required fields are Username and Full Name.

You can also include more information about the users:

  • Email: the user's associated email.
  • Profile: the user's associated profile.
  • Valid Date: the date from which the user can log into uContact.
  • Expiration Date: after this date, the user will no longer be able to log in.
  • Time Zone: the time zone associated with the user.
  • Language: the language associated with the user.
  • Phone: the user's phone number.
  • Password: the user's password, which must be changed at the first login.

If no phone or password is provided, uContact will assign an available phone and a random password to the user.

It is important to maintain the order of the parameters. If you wish to skip any parameters, you can leave them blank.

Export Users

You can export the list of users created in uContact if needed. To do this, simply press the download button located in the upper-right corner, and a CSV file containing all the users' information—full name, username, phone, among others—will be downloaded automatically.

Profiles

In this tab, you can access the list of profiles created in uContact. You can search by profile name. Next to the name of the tab, you can see the number of users created.

  • Profile: the profile name.
  • Profiles: indicates whether the profile has access to the Profiles window and the number of profiles. If the profile has access to all, it will say All, and if it has no access, it will say Not allowed.
  • Users: indicates whether the profile has access to the Users window and the number of users. If the profile has access to all, it will say All, and if it has no access, it will say Not allowed.
  • Campaigns: indicates whether the profile has access to the Campaigns window and the number of campaigns. If the profile has access to all, it will say All, and if it has no access, it will say Not allowed.
  • Connectors: indicates whether the profile has access to the Connectors window and the number of connectors. If the profile has access to all, it will say All, and if it has no access, it will say Not allowed.
  • Actions: here you will have the option to edit or delete the profile. If you want to edit, press the button, and a pop-up will appear where you can modify all the information related to the profile except for the name.
