Users

In this module, you can create users and profiles for administrators, supervisors, and agents of the Contact Center. It also includes functionalities such as importing users, exporting them, and performing searches. Let's explore everything you can do!

Users

In this tab, you can access the list of users created in uContact. You can search by username and user name. Additionally, you can create users in bulk or download them. Next to the tab name, you can see the number of users created.

List of Users

  • User: Here you can see the avatar, name, and username of each user.
  • Email: Displays the user's email address, which may be optional.
  • Profile: Shows the profile associated with the user, which may be optional.
  • Actions: Here you have the option to edit or delete the user. To edit, click the button, and a pop-up will appear where you can modify all user information except the username.

Enabled and Disabled Users

In the user list, you can differentiate between enabled and disabled users. Disabled users cannot log in to uContact.

Import Users

You can import a list of users to create them massively, saving valuable time. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Create a file in XLSX, ODS, CSV, or TXT format with a maximum size of 50MB.
  2. Required fields are Username and Name.

You can also include additional information about the users:

  • Email: User's email address.
  • Profile: Profile associated with the user.
  • Valid From Date: Date from which the user can log in to uContact.
  • Expiration Date: After this date, the user cannot log in.
  • Time Zone: Time zone associated with the user.
  • Language: Language associated with the user.
  • Phone: Phone number associated with the user.
  • Password: User's password (must be changed on first login).

If you do not include a phone number or password, uContact will assign an available phone number and a random password to the user.

Export Users

You can export the list of users created in uContact whenever needed. Simply click the download button located in the top right corner, and a CSV file containing all user information—such as name, username, phone number, and more—will be downloaded automatically.

Profiles

In this tab, you can access the list of profiles created in uContact. You can search by profile name. Next to the tab name, you can see the number of profiles created.

  • Profile: Profile name.
  • Permissions: Indicates access to Profiles window and quantity. Displays "All" if access is granted to all or "Not allowed" if access is restricted.
  • Users: Indicates access to Users window and quantity. Displays "All" if access is granted to all or "Not allowed" if access is restricted.
  • Campaigns: Indicates access to Campaigns window and quantity. Displays "All" if access is granted to all or "Not allowed" if access is restricted.
  • Connectors: Indicates access to Connectors window and quantity. Displays "All" if access is granted to all or "Not allowed" if access is restricted.
  • Actions: Here you have the option to edit or delete the profile. To edit, click the button, and a pop-up will appear where you can modify all profile information except the name.
