Users
In this tab, you can access the list of users created in uContact, perform searches based on the username and user name. You can also create users in bulk or download them.

Disabled Users
In the user list, you can distinguish between users who are enabled and those who are disabled. Disabled users are those who cannot log in to uContact because they were temporary users or are disabled.
If any exist, they will appear at the bottom of the list, and by hovering over their avatar, you can see the reason for their disabled status.
Import Users
You can import a list of users to create them in bulk, saving time. Here's how to do it!
- First, create a file in
XLSX
,ODS
,CSV
, orTXT
format, with a maximum size of 50MB. - In this file, include one user per line. The required fields are username and name, but you can also add more user information.
Here’s an example!
- Email: email associated with the user.
- Profile: profile associated with the user.
- Valid date: date from which the user can log in to uContact.
- Expiration date: after this date, the user cannot log in.
- Timezone: timezone associated with the user.
- Language: language associated with the user.
- Phone: phone number associated with the user.
- Password: user’s password, which they will need to change during their first login.
It is important to respect the order of the parameters. If you want to ignore any, you can leave a blank space.
How do users log in?
- If no phone number or password is provided, uContact will assign an available phone number and a random password to the user. They will receive an email with their credentials to log in.
- If no email address is provided, the Administrator will need to give the user their login credentials.
In either case, the user must change the password the first time they log in.
