Messenger

uContact integrates with Messenger so you can communicate with your customers through Messenger channels. Setting it up is easy and requires just a simple configuration.

Before You Start!

Before beginning the setup, you'll need certain information that uContact requires to establish the integration with the provider. Below is the necessary information.

Required Information

  • Facebook Account Access: You will need the credentials for your Facebook account to log in and accept the necessary permissions.

How to Set Up the Provider in uContact

  1. Go to the Connectors tab and click the "New" button.
  1. In this modal, select the channel and provider you wish to use, in this case, the Messenger channel and the Meta provider.

Once you select the channel and provider, click "Connect with Facebook."

  1. A new window will open where you'll need to log in to your Facebook account with your credentials.

  2. Afterward, you must accept the permissions for the integration with uContact.

  3. Finally, you'll see the result of the integration. There are two possible states:

  • Successful Integration: The connector was created successfully.
  • Integration Failed: If the integration fails, we recommend contacting our Support team to verify the issue and resolve it.

How to Monitor the Connector's Status

You can check the status of the connector in real-time. To do this, go to the Connectors tab in the Administration Menu, where you will see a list of all the created connectors. In the "Status" column, the corresponding status for each provider will appear.

What Does Each Status Mean?

Below are the different statuses a connector can have.

Indicates the connector is working correctly.
Indicates the connector stopped working and needs to be reactivated.
Indicates the connector is disconnected.
Indicates the connector is not being monitored.
