Net2Phone

In uContact, you can integrate your Net2phone provider to use in your telephony channels. It’s easy to set up and requires a simple configuration with the information provided by the provider.

Before You Start!

Before you begin the setup, you’ll need certain information that uContact will need to establish the integration with the provider. Below is the required information.

Required Information

  • Account ID: Net2phone account ID.
  • Password: Net2phone account password.
  • Host: SIP provider’s IP address.

How to Set Up the Provider in uContact

  1. Go to the Connectors tab and press the "New" button.
  1. In this modal, enter a name for the connector, select the channel and provider you wish.
  1. Once you select the channel and provider, two new tabs will appear. In the Configuration tab, you need to fill in the fields with the information provided by the provider.

Configuration

  • Account ID: Net2phone account ID.
  • Password: Net2phone account password.
  • Host: SIP provider’s IP address.
  1. Then, go to the Numbers tab and enter the numbers.

Numbers

  • Prefix: If the provider requires it, you can add a prefix that the connector will use to make calls. For example, if you enter 57 and an agent calls the number 5551234, the connector will dial it as 575551234.

  • Phone List: Here you need to add the numbers the connector will use to make calls, also known as DIDs. You can add them manually or in bulk by using a list of numbers.

In the telephony channel configuration, within the campaign, you can select which numbers will be used for incoming and outgoing calls.

How to Monitor the Connector’s Status

You can check the connector’s status in real time. To do so, go to the Connectors tab in the Administration Menu, where you’ll see a list of all the created connectors. In the "Status" column, the corresponding status for each provider will be shown.

What Does Each Status Mean?

Below are the different statuses a connector can have.

Indicates that the connector is working correctly.
Indicates that the connector stopped working and needs to be reactivated.
Indicates that the connector is not being monitored.
