Twilio SMS
uContact integrates with Twilio, allowing you to communicate with your clients through SMS and WhatsApp campaigns. Setting it up is easy and requires a simple configuration with the information provided by the provider.
Before You Start!
Before beginning the setup, you'll need certain information that uContact will require to establish the integration with the provider. Below is the necessary information.
Twilio Portal Configuration
Within the Twilio portal, you need to configure certain Webhooks for the provider to function correctly.
- Webhook for messages:
https://instance.ucontactcloud.com/api/inbound/twilioSms/message
Replace "instance" with your instance name, without the .ucontactcloud.com.
Required Information
- Username: Your Twilio account username.
- Password: Your Twilio account password.
How to Set Up the Provider in uContact
- Go to the Connectors tab and click the "New" button.
- In this modal, enter a name for the connector, select the channel, and choose the desired provider.
- After selecting the channel and provider, two new tabs will appear. In the Configuration tab, fill in the fields with the information provided by the provider.
Configuration
- Username: Your Twilio account username.
- Password: Your Twilio account password.
- Messages per second: The maximum number of messages that can be sent per second; by default, this is 1000.
- Then, in the Numbers tab, enter the numbers.

Here you need to add the numbers that the connector will use to send and receive messages. You can add them manually or in bulk using a list of numbers.
How to Monitor the Connector’s Status
You can check the status of the connector in real-time. To do so, go to the Connectors tab in the Administration Menu, where you’ll see a list of all the created connectors. In the "Status" column, the corresponding status for each provider will appear.
