Contact Manager
The Contact Manager allows you to manage multiple contacts at once efficiently.
In the main view, a table displays basic contact information, where you can:
- Load contacts using custom filters.
- Run bulk actions on selected contacts.
Import Data
The Import Data tool enables you to import contacts into uCRM using Excel or CSV files.
Steps to Import Contacts
Click on the Import Contacts Data icon to open the import assistant.
Select a file to upload. Click on the upload icon in the middle of the popup, then click Continue.
Match your file's columns with the corresponding uCRM fields.
- Required fields must be matched before proceeding.
- A warning will appear if required fields are missing.
Review & Confirm → The preview screen will display your data before final upload.
Conflicting contacts will be added as temporary contacts and will need to be merged or manually confirmed in the Conflicts Tool.
Change Owner
Each contact in uCRM is assigned an owner by default.
The Change Owner function allows you to bulk reassign contacts to a different owner.
Steps to Change Contact Ownership
Apply a filter in the Contact Manager to load the contacts you want to modify.
Click on the Change Owner icon.
Select the new owner from the popup window.
Click Save to confirm the changes.
Filters
The Filters tool allows you to:
Select pre-saved filters.
Create new filters on the fly.
Steps to Apply or Create Filters
Click the Filter icon at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
A filter pane will open on the right side of the screen.
Use the dropdown list to select a pre-saved filter, or click Add New Filter to create a custom one.
If you choose Add New Filter, a popup will appear to help you build the filter criteria.
You can:
- Apply the filter immediately.
- Save it for future use.
When a filter is applied:
- It will appear in the right pane with a description.
- An icon will appear to clear the applied filter.
