Forms Builder

The Forms Builder allows you to create and customize contact forms in uCRM by managing sections and fields according to your needs.

Section Management

Available Section Options

1. Edit Section: Modify section properties
2. Delete Section: Remove the section
3. Expand Section: View section in full detail

Section Configuration

When editing a section, you can configure:

• Title: Set a name for the section
• Size: Define section width (values from 2 to 12)
• Campaign Visibility: Select which campaigns can see this section

Field Management

Adding Fields

To add a new field to a section:

1. Click the "Add Field" button
2. A new empty field will be created
3. Configure the field properties

Field Configuration Options

1. Size Configuration

   • Set field width (values from 2 to 12)
   • Determines how much space the field occupies in the form

2. Field Properties

   • Field Type:

     • Text
     • Number
     • Text Area
     • Password
     • Select
     • Options
     • Other custom types

   • Basic Settings:

     • Field name
     • Additional information
     • Required field (yes/no)
     • Read-only (yes/no)

Field Type Selection

When selecting a field type, consider:

• The type of data you need to collect
• The format of the expected input
• The validation requirements
• User experience and ease of use

Best Practices

1. Section Organization:

   • Group related fields together
   • Use clear, descriptive section titles
   • Consider the logical flow of information

2. Field Layout:

   • Arrange fields in a logical order
   • Use appropriate field sizes
   • Balance the form layout for optimal viewing

3. Visibility Settings:

   • Configure section visibility based on actual campaign needs
   • Review and update campaign settings regularly
