Copy members between campaigns
In this guide we will show you how to copy members from one campaign to another quickly and easily, saving time when setting up campaigns with similar teams.
How to copy members?
- From the campaigns list, click on the three dots on the campaign from which you want to copy members and select the Copy members option.
- In the Actions column, click on the three dots and select Copy members.
A pop-up will open where you must:
- Select the destination campaign to which the members will be copied.
- Choose the copy mode you want to apply. When copying members you have two available options:
Replace all: This option removes all current members from the destination campaign and completely replaces them with the members from the source campaign. Example:
- Campaign A (source) has: Juan, Santiago, Pedro
- Campaign B (destination) has: Carlos, Santiago, Ana
Result: Campaign B will have: Juan, Santiago, Pedro
Members Carlos and Ana will be removed from campaign B.
Add only new members: This option adds members from the source campaign to the destination campaign, keeping the members that already existed. If a member already belongs to both campaigns, they will not be duplicated. Example:
- Campaign A (source) has: Juan, Santiago, Pedro
- Campaign B (destination) has: Carlos, Santiago, Ana
Result: Campaign B will have: Carlos, Santiago, Ana, Juan, Pedro
All members are preserved. Santiago, who already existed in both, is not duplicated.
Important considerations
When using Replace all, current members of the destination campaign will be permanently removed. Make sure to select the correct option according to your needs.
- Copied members will maintain their permissions settings and preferences from the source campaign.
- This functionality is especially useful when you need to configure several campaigns with similar teams.
- You can verify the changes by accessing the members settings of the destination campaign after performing the copy.
